Happy New Year! 

I hope you all had a wonderful time with your loved ones over the Christmas period. I really enjoyed taking a little break from blogging to go out more, sleep more, have fun and spend more quality time with my family. What's not to like? 

However, the break is now over and so is 2015. Blogging wise, it was an amazing year and I've got a lot to be thankful for. I had such a great time discovering and trying new products. I've recently purchased the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette (review and swatches here) and fell in love with it. That palette is simply beautiful and it's been all I wear now and I've even taken it on holiday with me last week. When I travel around Europe, for a short period, I prefer to pack lightly. I don't wear that much makeup when I'm away, especially if I know I'll spend most of my trip by the pool or at the beach.
