2014 Beauty Favourites

2014 was the year I admitted my status of beauty addict, started my blog and made some great beauty discoveries. :) So here's a list of all my absolute favourites of the year.

I have dry skin and this foundation is incredible at helping me achieve a more dewy and glowy finish, making me look a lot healthier (and less dry). The coverage is light to medium and looks really natural, which I love. The shade I got (BR30) unfortunately is a little bit dark for me in the winter so I have also been relying on my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, which is another must have for me.

I was never into primers before. I don't know why but I think I was a bit lazy to add one more step to my routine, unless I was going somewhere special and I really wanted my makeup to last as much as possible. This year I discovered this Nivea primer and I love it because it's like a moisturiser and a primer in one. Feels quite hydrating on the skin and helps my makeup last. It's lovely! I will probably do a proper review on it soon.

Gives a descent coverage while still keeping the under eye area hydrated. Have tried so many but keep coming back to it.

Brow Product - Benefit Gimme Brow
I used to wear just eyeshadow on my brows but this year I started trying brow gels to help set the brows in place. I then decided to finally splurge and buy Gimme Brow. Boy, I'm happy I did. Not a cheap product, considering the size, but this is all I wear now. LOVE IT!

Lip balm - Nuxe Rêve de Miel (review)
Although I love my Nivea milk & honey lip balm, Nuxe Reve de Miel has to be my favourite because it's the one that always saves my chapped, sore lips. Amazing stuff. Wear it every night.

It's a close tie between these and my new Tom Ford in Pink Dusk, but when it came down to choosing just one product, I have to say my love for the Nars Audacious is stronger. Very pigmented and lasts so well on the lips. I also love their shade range. Will probably be my favourite lipstick for a long time.

Nail Product - Barry M Nail Paint (review)
I have fallen in love with Barry M polishes in 2014. They are just incredible. They apply nicely and last pretty well. Love their vast shade selection. My favourite ones have been Almond (hi shine) and Crush (matte).

Single Eyeshadow - Mac All That Glitters
I will soon do a post on my MAC eyeshadow collection but Mac All That Glitters has to be my all time favourite. Such a gorgeous peachy shimmery eyeshadow that I love wearing all over the lid, with a bit of mascara, eyeliner and I'm out of the door. Seriously pretty!

Eyeshadow Palette - Urban Decay Naked Palette
I have bought a few palettes this year but the Urban Decay Naked Palette (the original) still is my favourite palette so far. Great neutral shades that I believe suit everyone. This one along with my Mac customised palettes have been my go to last year.

Blusher - Mac Warm Soul (review)
Choosing my favourite blush was very tough as I tend to change all the time but I think Warm Soul is probably my most worn last year. Such a gorgeous peachy, neutral blush that looks perfect with any eye look, whether you've got nothing on or a dark smokey eye this blush will look stunning.

Highlighter - theBalm Mary Lou Manizer
Gorgeous champagne highlighter. It's super finely milled and just adds a beautiful sheen to the cheeks without looking glittery.

Fragrance - Miss Dior Eau de Parfum
I got this perfume for Christmas in 2013 and OMG, I've been obsessed with it ever since. Smells so lovely and the longevity is incredible. I can still smell this on my clothes and hair the next day. Such an elegant scent.

Skincare Product - Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair (evening skincare routine)
As I said my skin is quite dry, so this miracle serum brings it back to life, making it look more hydrated and radiant in the morning, while also smoothing out my fine lines. Don't want to live without it anymore.

Face Mask - GLAMGLOW Supermud Clearing Treatment (review)
2014 was the year that I discovered this mask and I love how it exfoliates and clears out the skin all at the same time. Also, my skin feels very soft after using this. It's very expensive and therefore I save it for special occasions. lol But I swear by it and will continue to repurchase it.

If you had to choose just one product you really loved last year, what would it be? X
