September Favourites

Another month is gone and here are the things I've been enjoying the most throughout September.

BEAUTY FAVOURITES:

Sleek Brow Stylist PencilI used to wear powder eyeshadow for my brows before, but since buying this, it's all I wear recently. I love how easy it is to apply and because it's a waxy product, it lasts pretty much all day on me. It's supposed to be a dupe for the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil.

Maybelline Color Elixirs. These are very moisturising and comfortable to wear. Even the nude/light shades stain the lips, which I like because it means I don't need to reapply it very often. I got a full review on them here.

Sephora Pro Airbrush #55 has become my absolute favourite brush for liquid foundation. This was the only brush that made me put my Real Techniques Buffing Brush aside. As the name says, it gives such an airbrush finish. Something like the finish I get from my Beauty Blender. It's really, really good!

NON BEAUTY FAVOURITES:
New Look Low Heel Chelsea Boots. The weather has turned a bit and these have been my best friend in the past few weeks. They are wide fit and very comfortable. Perfect for everyday's activities. And did I mention they're also super affordable? :)
The Originals (TV Series). This year I finally decided to give 'The Vampire Diaries' a chance and to my surprise, I liked it. But towards season 5 I was a little bit fed up with Elena's character and her dilemma to which of the 2 brothers she should end up with, Stefan or Damon. If you've watched it, you probably know what I mean. The Originals is like a continuation of the story, but better, as it doesn't have Elena and her love drama. *lol* I'm still watching season 1 via Netflix, but I'm really enjoying it. Do any of you watch it as well?
M&S Banana and Chocolate Loaf with Buttery Caramel Sauce. Autumn is here this delicious dessert is back on the shelves. OMG! This is so morish. Was my favourite dessert last year and it continues to be my favourite this year. Perfect to warm up on a cold day. Or any day, really. haha I'm obsessed!

What has been your favourite thing this month? X

  1. Great picks! The brush sounds amazing, it's a shame we don't have Sephora in UK. And I love the Boots, I have a similar pair from Clarks and they're really the best friend for A/W. xx

  4. Great favourites :) I have watched Vampire Diaries since it started but it definitely reached a point where it was one dilema after the other and just got a bit samey. Tried The Originals but just couldn't stick with it. I guess all the drama is for me after all ! :) xx

  8. I haven't bought any of the Maybelline Colour Elixirs yet but I have swatched them and I love how they feel. I'm also considering putting in a Sephora order to try their brushes - if there was a store near me I would have bought them by now haha xx

  11. I believe I got halfway into 'The Originals' before slacking off - I love Klaus and Elijah but didn't find much interest in the storyline or the other characters. Though I agree you eventually get fed up with the "repeating" drama on TVD. :)
