The Lip Product Addict TAG

My lovely friend Alina from Beauty With Charm tagged me to to this post and I was really excited, as I'm a total lip product junkie. I hope you enjoy reading my picks! :)

1. Favourite Balm or Treatment
Barely started and I'm already cheating! haha *oops* My lips go really dry during A/W so I literally have lip balms scattered all around the house, by the sofa, by my bed, by my makeup table, in my handbags... everywhere! I have tried many! And I couldn't decide between two, so here we go... Nivea Honey & Milk Lip Balm is my go to everyday balm. I apply it all day around, whilst Nuxe Reve de Miel is like a treatment I keep by my bed and use overnight, every night. Both are really good! My lip saviours!
2. Best Eye-Catching Red
Well, I'm still a bit uncomfortable wearing reds. Even though I've tried to get used to it, it's still out of my comfort zone, but I have one I like and wear sometimes during Autumn and Winter. Mac Hot Tahiti is sheer, creamy and a great option for everyday use. It's a bit like a berry/red, so not too "in your face" like usual reds, hence why I like it. I recently did a post on it here

3. Best Luxury & Best Drugstore Lip Product
Best luxury would have to be Nars Audacious Lipstick. I have it in the shade Raquel and I'm in love!! It comes in 40 beautiful shades and it's got such an amazing formula. It's more of a satin finish and super comfortable on the lips. Worth every penny, in my opinion! If you wanna know more, I have a post on these lip wonders here

Best Drugstore Lip product has to be Rimmel. I love Kate Moss' line but my favourite lipstick is the Moisture Renew in Notting Hill Nude. Gorgeous everyday nude.

4. Best MAC Lipstick
My favourite Mac lipstick is Haute Altitude, but because it's a limited edition, I've chosen another one from the permanent line, which is Mac Faux. A lovely pink/plumy nude. Perfect for the 90's look that everyone seems to be loving at the moment. It's hands down my most worn Mac lipstick. There was a time I was wearing it every single day. It's got a satin finish, so quite long lasting but still moisturising. I love everything about it!

5. Most Disappointing Lip Product
I think this will have to be Maybelline Baby Lips. It was such a long wait. Once they finally got released in the UK I was very excited to try them due to the amazing reviews I kept seeing online. But unfortunately I found they had such a thin texture that didn't seem to moisturise my lips at all. There are cheaper and better drugstore products on offer, like the Nivea lip balm I mentioned above.

6. Lip Liner - Yes or No?
I'd say sometimes. I admit I rarely wear lip liner. But when I want my lipstick to last longer, I will definitely reach for them. My favourite is Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Eastend Snob. It's such a pretty pink. Sometimes I will wear only the lip liner topped with a nude lip gloss.

7. Favourite Gloss
Only recently I started getting into lip glosses and at the moment, I've been really enjoying Tanya Burr's in the shade "Chic". Love the packaging, the applicator, the smell is delicious and the formula is really nice. It's a tiny bit tacky but just enough to make it more long lasting. I wouldn't classify it as sticky at all. It's actually the lip gloss I will wear sometimes on top of Rimmel Eastend Snob lip liner. Great combo.

Which is your favourite lip product ever? I would love to know in the comments below.
