October Favourites

Another month is gone, which means it's time for monthly favourites. So without any of my usual rumbling, let's get straight to it. :)

If you read my blog regularly you might have seen that I went to an event called Blogger's Tea Party. It was such good fun and we were all lucky enough to walk away with a handful of amazing goodies. I can say without a doubt I loved pretty much everything (you can see what I got at the party here). But one thing I've been particularly enjoying and wearing every single day since I got it and that is the Foryou Rejuvenating Moisturiser (M2 - for dry skin). It's full of good stuff like Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C & E and it has SPF 25, which for me is a big bonus. The texture is lovely. Soft, not too thin but not too thick either and absorbs quickly. It's great underneath makeup. The only downside to the one I've got is it doesn't have a scent. I know some people prefer it that way due to sensitivity but for me, skincare has to smell nice. The good news is I've heard back from the company and they are working on a scented version, which I'm excited about. I hope I get to try it as soon as they release it.

Another thing I've been loving and wearing non stop is my Nars Audacious Lipstick in Raquel. I'm sorry if you are already sick and tired of hearing me talk about it lol but I truly love this lipstick. The formula is so soft, pigmented and long lasting (even the nudes) and the shades are absolutely stunning. I have a proper review on it here, if you're interested. And I'm also doing a GIVEAWAY where you can win one of these amazing lipsticks. I promise you're gonna love them as much, if not more than I do.

Batiste Smoothing Conditioning Mist has also been a constant thing in my days recently. If you read my hair care routine, then you'll probably remember I mentioned that my hair was in a bad state previously and now I'm trying to look after it more. Well, I've been reaching for this conditioning mist for help. At first I didn't believe it was gonna work, but it was on sale so I decided to give it a go. And I'm pleased to report it is actually good. Whenever I feel my hair a bit dry, I spray it just to the ends of my hair and it instantly feels softer. Plus it smells incredibly nice.

I've also rediscovered my Mac Prolongwear Paint Pot in the shade Groundwork and I've been wearing it every day for work. Kinda boring to wear the same thing all the time, I know. But I'm loving it for just a quick wash of colour as I don't usually have much time to get ready in the morning. Such a pretty shade of brown that is perfect for a natural everyday look.

Lastly, I couldn't write this post without mentioning my beloved theBalm Mary Lou Manizer. This is the prettiest champagne highlighter. Very fine with no chunky glitters. Just a gorgeous sheen to finish the look with a glamorous glow. Love it to bits!

What have you been enjoying this month? Any new items I should add to my wishlist? :)

Thanks for reading! X
