Nars Virtual Domination Cheek Palette

I've been wanting to try Nars products for the longest time ever and since falling in love with their Audacious Lipsticks, my desire for the brand just increased. So I finally caved in and bought the limited edition Nars Virtual Domination Cheek Palette.

I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try some Nars products at a much lower price. Whilst £45 is still not cheap, the palette has a combined retail value of  £117, making it an amazing deal, especially for those who don't own any Nars cheek products, like myself. 

Unfortunately this palette is now SOLD OUT in the UK but you can still buy it in the Sephora website (US) or you can buy 3 of these cheek products individually - Miss Liberty highlighter, Laguna bronzer & Deep Throat blush. 

I was disappointed with Miss Liberty highlighter. I wish it had better colour pay off and less glitter. I knock the excess off my brush and it helps getting rid of the chunkier bits of glitter. The final look is not too bad but I guess I just expected more from a Nars highlighter. So I would not recommend this product, as there are much better ones in the market (such as Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks, theBalm Mary Loumanizer, Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight). 

But I would definitely recommend Laguna and Deep Throat. Laguna bronzer seems a bit scary on the pan but I was surprised at how sheer it is, which makes it easy to apply and build up to our personal preference. I really like it for both contouring or an all over bronzed look. It's got a tiny bit of shimmer in it but honestly, it's unnoticeable once applied to the skin. Deep Throat is a lovely pinky / peachy blush that is perfect for every season. It's pigmented and has only a tiny bit shimmery that is so subtle you can barely notice. The colour is beautiful and just leaves my skin flushed and glowy. 

The blushes "Sex Fantasy" & "Final Cut" are also gorgeous but they were limited editions and exclusive to this palette.

Although I don't love the highlighter, I'm very happy I managed to get my hands on this palette as all the other cheek products are really good! Nars Virtual Domination Cheek Palette is incredible so if you can still find it somewhere, somehow, I'd definitely recommend buying it. If not, I'd recommend giving Laguna and Deep Throat a try. Great products!
