New @ The Drugstore #1

I was browsing at Boots and Superdrug on the weekend and spotted 2 new interesting releases:

Collection Work The Colour Eyebrow Kit (£3.99)
This is the first eyebrow kit I've seen that comes with a small clear brow mascara. It includes 3 eyeshadows (beige, medium brown and charcoal brown) and a teeny weeny double ended brush, one of them being angled, which I love. Such a complete kit and super travel friendly!
I know some people will probably still prefer those kits with clear wax, but I personally don't, as they tend to get a bit dirty and messy really quick. I was very pleased to finally see one with a mascara instead. Pigmentation is not super amazing but is pretty good. I use the middle shade and it looks great and lasted all day on me. The little brush & the brow mascara also work a treat. I think it's totally worth a try. I'm really enjoying it. And for £3.99, you can't really fault it.

NYC Cream to Powder Blush Stick in Soho Pink (£2.99)
I'm a sucker for cream blushes so no need to say how excited I am every time I stumble upon a new one. And what a bargain! The BB blush is available in two colours, Soho Pink (muted rose) and Never Sleeping Pink (bright peachy pink). I don't think bright coral/peachy pinks look very good on me, so I went for the more neutral shade. It's gorgeous! Looks just like you've got a natural flush to the cheeks. I'm a true believer that "less is more", so natural looks are my kinda thing. This blush has got a cream to powder finish, more on the creamy side, which makes it really easy to apply with finger or a small stippling brush. I like that it leaves the cheeks looking more on the dewy side. It lasted pretty well on my dry to combination skin but if you feel cream blushes don't last that well on you, but still wanna give it a try, I'd suggest applying a little bit of a powder blush on top, to set it.

Overall, I'm very happy with my drugstore/high street finds. :-)

Have you seen or tried any of these two products? Let me know your thoughts! X
