August Favourites

August is gone and so is Summer. Even though I'll miss the heat and sunshine, I'm excited about Autumn clothes and switching to darker nails and makeup. 

Here are my favourite things from August. 

BEAUTY FAVOURITES:






Revlon Highlighting Powder in Bronze Glow.
I've been wearing it so much recently. Even though it's called highlighting powder, in my opinion it's more a mix of bronzer and blush in one and it's gorgeous!

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Celestial. I know I'm very late to the party. I had tried the nude shade ages ago but didn't quite like the colour and stopped there. Around July I decided to give it a second chance and bought Celestial, which is a beautiful deep pink/mauve shade. I featured it in my "what's in my travel makeup bag" (here) because I couldn't stop wearing it all month and had to take it on holiday with me. Lovely shade for summer and autumn as well. 

Bourjois Contour Clubbing Eyeliner in Up and Brown. When it comes to soft eyeliners I'm loyal to Rimmel Scandaleyes and Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencils. But I decided to give Bourjois a go and I'm really glad I did. It's waterproof, therefore very long lasting. It's the same quality as the UD liners, only at a fraction of the price. Love it!

Max Factor Clump Defy Extensions Mascara. This is not a mascara for those after a dramatic look, but I really like how it adds a bit of volume, length and keeps my lashes looking natural without clumps.  

Sanctuary Spa Leave On Exfoliating Cream. This cream is a chemical exfoliator that I leave on over night, nearly every night. It makes me wake up with much newer, brighter skin. It's seriously good! Check out my full review here.


NON BEAUTY FAVOURITES:
H&M Loafers. These were only £9.99!! It took me a couple of weeks to adjust to them, but once I broke them in, wow! These loafers are seriously comfy and I've been wearing them everywhere, non stop.  

Wunderlist. This is a recent discovery and I'm addicted. I love being organised and having lists for everything. OCD much? *lol* I can now create as many lists as I like and tick off the tasks, as I complete them. And I can also share them with others. It's made my life so much easier and it's FREE. It doesn't get better than that, does it? ;-)

Orange Is The New Black. This is a TV Series exclusive to Netflix. It's about a woman who was convicted to 15 months in prison for transporting money for her drug dealing girlfriend. The story doesn't sound appealing? Watch a couple episodes and I'm sure you'll be hooked. I probably watched both seasons in August. Just couldn't turn the TV off.
