NEW bareMinerals The Royal Court Palette (Christmas Edition)

bareMinerals The Royal Court Palette

Last month I attended the bareMinerals A Bare Christmas Story Party (#BareStory) in Central London. Such a lovely event! I got to meet with some of my blogger friends and I also had a great time getting to see bareMinerals new releases and sets for Christmas. Some beautiful products. And we were all lucky enough to leave the event with the NEW bareMinerals The Royal Court Palette.

bareMinerals The Royal Court Palette

This palette is really good and it's all I've been wearing ever since I got it. The packaging is made with simple cardboard but I really like how it looks. It's very slim, compact and it comes with a mirror, which is always a good thing. But to be honest, the shades alone are enough to make me love it.

On the left, you'll find Clear Radiance, a pinky highlighter with some sort of duo chrome pigment to it. Very subtle and not too shimmery. I'd say it's more on the satin side. It's incredible. In the middle you have Golden Gate, a muted pink blush with tiny specks of shimmer that are unnoticeable on the cheeks. They just add a glow to the skin. Lastly we have Warmth. As the name suggests it's a very warm toned bronzer. It reminds me a lot of Nars Laguna not only in colour, but also in pigmentation and texture. If you own Laguna, you'll know it's quite sheer, which for me is a bonus, as I can never go wrong with it. But I guess some people might find it a problem, especially if their skin tone is much darker than mine. But if your skin is light to medium I think this will work as well for you as it does for me.

For some odd reason, I hadn't tried many things from bareMinerals before, with exception of the Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream, which I love and wear nearly every day (read my review here). But that's gonna change as both the tinted moisturiser and The Royal Court Palette have opened my eyes to how good their products can be. I want to try their eyeshadows next.

Overall, I'm really happy with this palette. I love all 3 shades and think its sleek, 3 in 1 packaging makes it the perfect travelling palette for the cheeks. I've recently taken it to France and I didn't miss having anything else with me. Simply brilliant!

Apart from The Royal Court Palette, I thought I'd also show you some of my favourite bareMinerals Christmas sets this year. They have something for everyone's taste and budget.
Do you like bareMinerals? Are you tempted to add any of their gift sets to your Christmas list? X
