H&M Beauty | Haul & First Impressions

H&M Beauty Haul

I had tried H&M Beauty products before and wasn't too impressed. But then I saw they completely revamped their beauty line, from packaging to range of products available and formula. I had to see it for myself so here is my haul and first impressions. :)

1st product and probably the one I was most excited to try is the H&M Colour Essence Eye Cream in Champers. This is a beautiful beige / creamy colour with a bit of shimmer. I've been wearing this on it's own with eyeliner and mascara for a natural everyday look. But this also works amazingly well as a base for powder eyeshadow. I love pairing this with Baci Di Dama. I nearly bought a similar product once, from Illamasqua (Vintage Metallix Eyeshadow in Courtier) so I'm really glad I managed to pick this up instead, as it's only £4.99. It's beautiful and very long lasting. Stays put all day without the need to wear a primer.

Another product I'm loving from this line is the H&M Eyeshadow in Baci Di Dama. This was a recommendation from Lily Pebbles and I agree... it's a beautiful shade. It's very similar to MAC All That Glitters (one of my all time favourite eyeshadows). Looks lovely all over the lid or paired with a darker shade on the crease - outer corner. So silky smooth and very pigmented. The line includes a massive selection of matte, shimmery and glittery colours. For only £4.99 these are a must have!

H&M Cream Lip Colour in Cream Chestnut is a beautiful and very creamy lipstick (as the name suggests). These are incredibly pigmented and very, very moisturising. Not to mention the packaging. Can we take a moment to appreciate it? I just love the whole 'off white' and golden tube. It's so elegant and such a 'vanity worthy product'. There is a huge variety of shades from pinks, plums and reds. I love the colour I picked up and will probably get more in the future. They retail for £7.99.

H&M Pure Radiance Powder Blusher in Rosy Brown is also stunning. The formula, again, is super pigmented. Seriously, I only need to dab my brush on it once, very lightly. Rosy Brown is a beautiful rose shade that looks matte on the pan but adds a very subtle glow to the cheeks. I also love the black and golden packaging in a hexagon shape. The plastic on these feel a little cheap to touch and don't have a mirror. But I think they still look really nice and apply incredible well. So in my opinion, they're more than worth the £6.99 price tag.

Last but not least, the H&M Nail Polish in Go To Greige. Stunning Autumnal shade. The formula is creamy, smooth (not streaky at all), glossy and very easy to apply, thanks to its large brush. I've applied it on Tuesday evening and it's lasting 4 days so far (only 1 coat / no top coat and very minor chipping - I blame that on me not prepping my nails properly). I'm still testing it, though, so will keep you updated. But so far, I really like it.

Sorry if I sound a bit repetitive but I'm genuinely blown away by the new H&M Beauty products and would highly recommend buying every single one of these items. They have excellent quality and are very affordable. On top of that, I also love the packaging. I can't fault it! So pleased to see a cheaper beauty range that actually performs really well. Massive thumbs up!!

If you fancy trying H&M makeup, might also be worth checking their beautiful makeup sets (£14.99).
