15 Festive Favourites TAG

Christmas is nearly here and I'm getting really excited now. It's possibly my favourite time of the whole year so I don't need to say I was quite happy when the lovely Brenda from Brenda Busy Bee selected me to do this tag. Such a fun / cute tag. FAVOURITE FESTIVE FOOD I know everyone here in the UK love mince pies, which I find just ok. My favourite food this time of the year has to be Chocolate Chip Panettone (Chocottone). If you don't know it yet, it's basically a sweet, soft bread with chocolate chips. Yum! :D

FAVOURITE REINDEER

I'm gonna say Rudolph. haha Mainly because he's the one we hear about all the time. 

FAVOURITE DAY OF CHRISTMAS

Christmas day, certainly! As embarrassing as it may be I still get excited about sitting by the Xmas tree and opening presents, then having dinner while listening to Xmas songs and playing games with the family. :D

FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS SONG "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" from Michael Bublé always gets me in the mood. But I love his whole CD, to be honest. And will always play it this time of the year, at home, in the car, everywhere. lol

FAVOURITE PRESENT

I'm happy with everything I receive. Obviously I love anything beauty related but I also love those presents that you can see the person put a lot of thought into it either because it's something personal / personalised to me or because it's something the person needed to know me well to be able to work out I'd like it. My husband's family always does Christmas lists, which is nice and helpful, but I always look forward to seeing the extra / non list related presents we get to each other. 

FAVOURITE FESTIVE FILM

God, growing up I'd always watch Home Alone. It's on TV every single year and it became a tradition to watch it. But I no longer do it. Maybe I should do again this year for the good old time's sake. lol I also want to watch Elf and The Muppet Christmas Carol. 

FAVOURITE CRACKER TOY

We got little wind up reindeer last year and they came with a racing track so we raced each other after dinner. Silly but it was good fun :)

FAVOURITE CRACKER JOKE

No idea! Not that I get too drunk (I actually rarely drink) but I just can't remember any. lol

FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS DECORATION

The tree and especially fairy lights. I love putting those lights in my house. They just instantly make me feel Christmassy.

FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS CANDLE SCENT

Loooove Yankee Candle's Fireside Treats. It's sweet, cosy and just perfect for a cold winter day. 

FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS TV ADVERT

Loved the new one from John Lewis, with the penguin. So sweet! <3

FAVOURITE FESTIVE TRADITION

Not sure we have any in the family other than eating Duck a l'Orange every single year followed by Christmas Pudding. :)

FAVOURITE PLACE TO SPEND CHRISTMAS

Home with the family. Unfortunately my parents and sister are in Brazil and it didn't work out for me to go spend Christmas with them this year. But I'm very lucky to have a second family here that I consider as mine, which is my husband's family, and we always have a lot of fun together.

No idea! I'm getting bad at this tag... lol

FAVOURITE SNOWMAN ACCESSORY

Well, it doesn't snow often in London, but back in 2010 hubby and I made a tiny snowman in Hyde Park. We had to improvise so I put my hat on him and my gloves as his feet, with long twigs as arms. It looked pretty silly but I got some people asking to take photos with him. haha 

I have really enjoyed answering this tag and put me right in the mood for Christmas. I hope you enjoy reading it and doing it too, why not? :)
