I have always been a big fan of Barry M and therefore was very excited to attend their latest event and have a first look at all their NEW Spring '16 Beauty Launches*. And what else would I do other than share with you all about the amazing new products that are coming out?
I'm gonna start by the thing that caught my attention the most, Barry M That's How I Roll Mascara. I could not help but notice the similarity of the name and the plastic wand to the ever so popular Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. They're both got that same design with short bristles on one side and longer on the other, and the promise to curl the lashes without the need to use a curler.

While I do agree that the mascara curls my lashes, I still think I need an eyelash curler to achieve a proper, full on curl. But overall this is a lovely mascara. It's clump free, separates the lashes well, holds the curl and it's also fairly easy to remove. It makes my lashes look very natural as you can see in the photo above. I personally really enjoy it. Might not be one for a special event, when I may want loads of length, volume and drama but I'd say this is a great everyday mascara. And the best of all? It's only £4.99.
Barry M Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit was a big hit last year. The sculpt and highlight trio helps enhance and define our features, with two deeper shades to give definition and a lighter shade to make the high points of the face pop. Such an incredible product. And now the collection is complete with the new shades for medium to dark skin tones.
Believe it or not, although my skin is on the fair side, I can still work with these. The highlighting shade is a great peach blush on me and the middle shade works great as a bronzer. The only shade that is a bit harder to manage is the darker and more ashy toned one, which I can still wear as an eyeshadow but not so much as a face powder. The pigmentation is great and for only £6.99, it's a total steal. So if you felt left out when the company brought out the successful palette last year but it didn't suit your skin colour, your problems are now solved! :)
Another great addition to the Barry M family is the new light to medium shade of the Brow Kit Shape and Define. Here you get the wax, the brow shade (matte) and the highlight shade (satin pearl). The brow shade is perfect on me but I think it'd still be a bit too dark for blonde people. Really like the quality and the fact that this palette comes with a double ended applicator, tweezers and a mirror, which are all quite handy when you're on the go. So if your brows are more on the medium side of the colour spectrum, I think this would be a great product to try. It retails for £5.99.
Last but definitely not least, the new nail colours. I'll describe them by each collection:
1. Barry M Speedy Nail Paint

L to R: In A Flash, Winning Streak, Freestyle & Personal Best.
2. Barry M Gelly Nail Paint

L to R: Cream Soda, Butterscotch Sundae, Pink Lemonade & Acai Smoothie.
3. Barry M Sunset Nail Paint
