Tarte has become famous for it's amazonian clay blushes and most recently their Tartelette palettes. Now they've launched the NEW Tarte Tartelette Tease Palette, which is like a pocket version of the Tartelette In The Bloom Palette. I love travel and handbag friendly palettes so thought this would be a great way to get introduced to the brand.
The packaging is made with cardboard but feels sturdy. It's colourful, very compact and includes a mirror, which is always a nice bonus. The palette comes with 6 clay infused shades, with a mix of matte and shimmers.
Top row: Whisper (light matte pink), Crush (taupe shimmer/glitter), Heartbreaker (matte dark brown)
Bottom row: Wink (light mauve), First Kiss (mauve satin/shimmer), BFF (matte plum)

The eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented and easy to blend. And guess what? They smell just like the Too Faced Chocolate Palettes. Yes! I said chocolate! :D So yummy! There's something about that scent that makes me happy every time I use this or the Too Faced palettes. Here's a simple look I've created with the 1st row of the palette - Whisper all over the lid and brow bone, Crush on 2/3 of the lid and Heartbreaker on the outer corner and crease.

My only complaint so far is with the shade Crush, described as a taupe shimmer. It's got a bit of glitter in it and therefore I experience fall out during application. Not a deal breaker for me but whenever I wear this shade I will either hold a paper under my eyes or apply my foundation last, to ensure I'm not left with glitter everywhere.
Overall, this palette is a winner! Such a great option to carry on the go and the quality is impeccable. I'm a new fan and will definitely buy more Tarte palettes in the future.
Sadly Tarte is not very widely available in the UK yet, other than in QVC and Rose's Beauty Store, which is where I bought the Tartelette Tease Palette from (£20). They are great and I cannot recommend them enough. They import products from the US but their UK office pays for the taxes themselves, meaning they ship it anywhere in the EU with no additional cost other than what you pay at checkout. No tax surprises on delivery. Nothing! I paid only £2 for delivery and received my palette within 5 working days. I'm really happy with their service and prices. If you're also curious about some US only brands, they are the place to look at.
Have you tried any Tarte palettes? X
