I can't believe we are now only 4 weeks away from Christmas. This is my favourite time of the year. Not only for the decoration, the music & the family gathering, but I also love how all the beauty companies come out with gift sets and new collections to lure us into spending every penny we have. And I think we all know they do it really well. :D
If you've had a peak at the The Body Shop recently you may have seen that they've come out with 3 seasonal fragrances in Glazed Apple, Frosted Cranberry and Vanilla Brulee.

I thought the Glazed Apple Bath Jelly was such a fun concept as I had never tried anything similar before. It literally feels like you're sticking your hands into a tub full of gelatine. It's got that same bouncy texture. You're supposed to drizzle a scoop into warm running water to create sweet smelling bubbles. But I needed more than just one scoop to make my bath as bubbly and as scented as I like it to be. This bath jelly claims to leave skin softer and smoother, which it didn't. But to be honest, when I saw the product, I kinda doubted it would be moisturising anyway. I bought it simply for the consistency and the delicious smell. And in the end, I did have a really enjoyable bubble bath. But if you're looking for something more moisturising, I'd probably try the Vanilla Brulee collection.
The Glazed Apple Body Butter is the main star of the show here. It's got a thick and very moisturising texture that leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated all day. I just love how the smell lingers for hours and leaves my clothes smelling heavenly too. If you're going to pick up only one thing, I'd say get the body butter. It's really, really good! :)
There's also a Glazed Apple Tin of Treasures gift set with a small shower gel, body butter, body lotion, body polish & a mini crinkle bath lily. I think this would be absolutely amazing for Christmas and I'm sure anyone would be chuffed to get it. :)
