Hi, everyone! I hope you're all having a fantastic Easter break. After a couple weeks off due to a busy schedule, I'm back with a review on the new skincare range from Trilogy. The brand has become known to me thanks to their ever so popular Rosehip Oil which is their best selling product (1 sold every 22 seconds). I'm a big fan of the company's organic / natural philosophy so was very honoured to be invited to the launch of their newly reformulated Trilogy Age-Proof range.
Trilogy Age-Proof's formula now includes Glycablend to fight glycation, which causes collagen fibres to harden and lose their elasticity as we age. Sounds amazing right?! And it is! Glycablend is comprised of a pomegranate, strawberry, blueberry and chia seed oils mix. It helps minimising the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while keeping skin looking healthy and radiant. This super ingredient can be found in most of Trilogy's Age Proof rage, including the products I have tried.
I will start talking about the Trilogy CoQ10 Booster Oil* with Glycablend and Co-Enzyme Q10. This oil aims to hydrate and revitalise the skin, boosting collagen and elastin production. I know you guys might be a bit tired of hearing about facial oils by now. They've become a big trend in the beauty industry and although I love to always include one in my nighttime routine, they've all been pretty much the same to me until this one. It nourishes my skin and the best of all is it truly delivers on its promise to smooth fine lines, leaving my skin more plumped and younger looking. On top of that it smells simply lovely, like I've just had a facial at a SPA. I always apply 2-3 drops every night but I've also tried adding just a drop to my moisturiser on days when I'm finding my skin looking a bit flaky and dry and it's perfect! Adds just the right amount of extra hydration and glow. It retails for £29.50 for only 20ml so sadly a bit more expensive than it's sister product (Rosehip Oil) but a little goes a long way and you do get excellent results.
The other product I got to try was the Trilogy Age-Proof Line Smoothing Day Cream* (50ml), which has quickly become a staple in my routine. I love the smell and the fact that although it's very creamy and nourishing, this moisturiser gets absorbed well and feels light on the skin, with a finish that it's not completely matte but doesn't make me look greasy at all either. And I mean, I know I'm still young but this combo has certainly improved my skin in the past month I've been wearing it.
So my verdict is the Trilogy Age-Proof range is incredible and I think it's totally worth the try, especially if you're over 30s like me. :)
What are your thoughts on Trilogy products? Have you tried anything from the Age-Proof range? X
